The Ellimist (Animorphs) by suburbantimewaster The Ellimist (Animorphs) by suburbantimewaster
This is the Ellimist from Animorphs.  The one in a constant game of chess with The Crayak.  His pieces are The Animorphs and the Crayak's pieces are The Yeerks.  I have a few actors in mind for The Ellimist, like Patrick Stewart.  :icononlyindreams145: had me considering Kelsey Grammar.

I would say have the same actor play The Ellimist play Elfangor and the same for Visser Three and Crayak. Maybe Liam Neeson for the latter, and, you'll probably disagree, Viggo Mortensen as the former. After all, these are not humans. A but of makeup can go a long way for them each.

I don't know who Viggo Mortensen is. Liam Needan would be good as Visser Three and the Crayak.

Hmm, I'll help you out. Viggo Mortensen was the man who played Frank Hopkins in Hidalgo, a story about a cowboy who enters a long-distance horse race through the Arabian desert, was the star of Cormack McCarthey's The Road where he played a father trying to take care of his son through the apocalypse, and last but not least, was Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings. Very talented man, a very wise one to, and tremendously humble in spite of his celebrity.

Out of all those roles, the only one I know is the last one.

I'd love to, but to be honest, I very rarely tend to actually finish reading fanfiction if it's more than like two chapters. ^^; I'm lazy that way.

Patrick Stewart would be an interesting choice for the Ellimist. I don't know much about Kelsey Grammar, but I'm also not good with putting names to faces.

Now I'm thinking Ian McKellan might be good. He was Gandalf in Lord of the Rings.

He can fill that role as well, although the Ellimist will sometimes take many forms to help speak to the Animorphs.

Yeah, but he'll still need a voice.

True, and the actors you suggested could work. But first there needs to be a show or something like that before he gets a voice.

Or a movie.

True, but I think a movie would be difficult without something like a tv show to support it. Animorphs has over 50 books. I think the best candidates for an Animorphs movie would be the side books like Visser or the Hork Bajiir Chronicles.

True, or they could make a series of movies.  Maybe a movie and then a supporting TV series.
