Emma Swan (Once Upon A Time)

This is Emma when she found herself in Fairy Tale Land in season 2.  I love Once Upon A Time and Emma is one of the most badass characters I've seen.  Technically, she's a Disney princess due to Once Upon A Time being owned by Disney and being the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming.  Unfortunately, due to the curse, loving princess and being the savior, Snow White and Prince Charming sent Emma to our world before the curse set it so she can save them.  So, instead of living the life of a princess, Emma lived like Aladdin from the titular Disney movie.  She steals to survive and moves from place to place.  In other words, Emma is a diamond in the rough.  I don't think Emma's a Mary-Sue, because her being the savior came at a cost, she makes bad choices that cost her dearly and, in the most recent season finale, made the ultimate sacrifice in order to save Storybrooke.  As for what the sacrifice was, let's say that one of the main themes of Once Upon A Time is that magic always comes at a price, and the writers show that in great detail.  At times, Emma's hair looks golden blonde and other times it looks platinum blonde, so I made a guess on that one.
