Cathy Patel (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine OC)

This is Chris's little sister, Cathy.  That's right, Chris and Cathy.  See if you can guess that reference.  Anyway, Cathy's very close to her brother and only makes a few minor appearances throughout the fanfic.  She's studying to be an exobiologist and is interning on Andoria with a romantic interest in one of her fellow students.  Chris can be quite protective of her and act more like her father than he does her older brother, something that gets on Cathy's nerves.  Cathy does know Candy and considers her a friend, though the two haven't spoken since Candy and Chris fell out during high school.
